Multi-Location Management: All Your Branches in One Dashboard

Manage all your locations from a single dashboard. Bulk Google Places import, branch performance comparison, and centralized reporting.

Managing online reviews for a single location is already demanding. Now multiply that by 10, 50, or 200 branches. Research shows that 67% of businesses with five or more locations describe online review management as “very difficult” or “unmanageable.” Logging into separate Google Business accounts for each branch, tracking reviews one by one, and trying to make sense of performance differences across locations — it all adds up to a massive operational burden. Sentimaps’ multi-location management feature solves this problem by bringing all your branches into a single, unified dashboard.

The Core Challenges of Multi-Location Management

Businesses with multiple branches face several critical obstacles when it comes to review management:

Fragmented Data

Each branch’s reviews live on different platforms, under different accounts. Google Maps, Yandex Maps, Apple Maps — consolidating data from all of them is a project in itself. With 10 locations, you’re checking at least 30 different pages every day.

Comparison Difficulty

“Is our downtown location outperforming the suburban one?” Answering this question typically requires spreadsheets and manual calculations. And looking at star ratings alone can be misleading — a 4.2 average might hide a very different customer experience story beneath the surface.

Lack of Centralized Reporting

Preparing a comprehensive report for a regional manager or board of directors means hours of manual data collection and formatting work.

Company and Location Hierarchy in Sentimaps

Sentimaps tackles multi-location management with a structured corporate hierarchy. This structure consists of two layers:

Company Layer

A company is the top-level entity that all your locations belong to. You can create multiple companies within a single Sentimaps account. This feature was designed especially for agencies and consulting firms — you can organize different clients’ locations under separate companies.

To create a company, navigate to the “Companies” section in the dashboard and enter the company name, industry information, and contact details. Your company is ready in seconds.

Location Layer

Each company contains multiple locations. Every location represents a real-world physical branch, and all review data for that branch is collected under this location entity.

How to Add Locations

There are two ways to add locations in Sentimaps, each suited to different scenarios.

Manual Location Entry

If you need to add a single branch, use the location entry form to manually input the business name, address, Google Places ID, and other details. This method is ideal for quickly adding a newly opened branch to the system.

Bulk Google Places Import

This is where the real power lies. If you have 20, 50, or 200 branches, adding them one by one is impractical. With Sentimaps’ bulk import feature, search for your branches on Google Places, select them from the list, and import all of them into the system with a single click.

During bulk import, Sentimaps automatically pulls the following information from Google Places for each location:

  • Business name and address
  • Geographic coordinates (latitude/longitude)
  • Google star average and total review count
  • Business category
  • Operating hours and contact information

This data is presented on the location detail page alongside a map view. You can access each location’s Google profile information and most recent reviews from a single page.

Branch Performance Comparison

Once all your locations are in the system, Sentimaps’ performance table takes center stage. This table allows you to compare all your branches side by side.

Branch-Level KPIs

Three key performance indicators are calculated for each location:

Average Score: A weighted average of star ratings across Google, Yandex, and Apple Maps. Instead of looking at Google ratings alone, you get a comprehensive score that spans all platforms.

Review Count: Total number of reviews within a specific period. Review volume is an important indicator of how “visible” a branch is. A low review count may signal that the location’s digital presence is weak.

Sentiment Percentage: Calculated by Sentimaps’ AI engine, this shows the positive/negative/neutral distribution of reviews. This metric reveals the story that star ratings alone cannot tell. A branch with a 4.0 rating might have 72% positive sentiment, while a 4.1-rated branch might only have 65% — the numbers behind the numbers matter.

Top and Bottom Performers

The performance table ranks your branches by whichever KPI you select. You can identify best practices from top-performing branches and plan improvement actions for those at the bottom.

This comparison is especially valuable for:

  • Benchmarking newly opened branches against established ones
  • Identifying regional performance differences
  • Providing performance feedback to franchise owners
  • Supporting investment decisions with location-level data

Location Detail Pages

Click on any location in the performance table and you’ll see a dedicated detail page for that branch. This page includes:

Map View: An interactive map showing the location’s geographic position. You can also see competing businesses in the vicinity.

Google Profile Information: Current data pulled from Google Business Profile, including business name, category, operating hours, phone number, and website.

Latest Reviews: The most recent reviews for that location, tagged with sentiment analysis labels. See at a glance which reviews are positive and which are negative.

Trend Charts: Graphs showing score and sentiment changes over time. Visually track the impact of a campaign or operational change as it unfolds.
