Privacy Policy
Sentimaps is an insight platform that aggregates reviews from multiple map sources, classifies them with AI, produces location scores, and lets you reply to your connected Google Business Profile locations. This policy explains what data we process — and, in particular, how we access, use, store, and protect data from your Google account and Google Business Profile.

Google user data we access
- When you sign in with Google (openid, email, profile scopes): your Google account ID, email address, display name, and profile picture.
- When you connect Google Business Profile (business.manage scope): the list of your business accounts; your locations (title, address, phone, website, place ID, opening hours, coordinates); reviews (review text, star rating, reviewer display name, profile link/photo, timestamps); and existing business-owner replies.
- Your Google OAuth access and refresh tokens, kept to maintain the authorized connection.
- We only access data within the scopes above; we do not access Gmail, Drive, or other Google services.
How we use Google user data
- Authenticate you and show your linked-account status in the app
- Import and manage your Google Business Profile locations
- Fetch and display your reviews in the dashboard
- Analyze reviews for sentiment and topics using AI
- Generate reply suggestions and — at your request — post, edit, or delete replies to Google on your behalf
- We do NOT use Google user data for advertising, and we do NOT use it to train generalized AI/ML models.
How we share Google user data
- Google Gemini API (Google LLC): review text and related metadata are processed to generate reply suggestions and analysis; run on a paid, no-training tier.
- Sub-processors used only to operate the service: hosting Hetzner (Germany/EU), transactional email Resend, payments Paddle.
- We never sell Google user data or share it for third-party marketing.
- Sentimaps' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.
Other data we process
- Account details (name, email, company)
- Location and brand information
- Review content, ratings, and source-platform metadata from other map sources
- Product usage analytics (feature interactions, performance metrics)
Storage and protection
- Google user data is stored in access-controlled databases hosted in Germany/EU (Hetzner).
- All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
- Access is restricted to authorized internal services via role-based access control and per-organization isolation.
Retention and deletion
- Google user data is retained while your account and connection remain active.
- You can disconnect a Google account at any time in Settings; this removes the connection and the stored tokens.
- Deleting your account (with a 30-day grace period) permanently removes all linked Google accounts, tokens, and associated review data.

Your rights
- You may request access, rectification, erasure, and restriction of processing.
- You may exercise data portability and objection rights, and withdraw consent.
